KAMA Frame-&-Stamping Plant OJSC is 35
In 2005 overall production grew by 13%. Engines production was increased by 8%.
OKA cars will soon leave the assembly line of Small Passenger Car Plant forever. KAMA Frame-&-Stamping Plant is ready to start production of frames for “Rexton” vehicles. Still Rexton frames production is not the major strategic target for KAMA Frame-&-Stamping Plant. “The plans to increase the assembly of 5 FIAT modifications up to 60-65 thousand units per year are highly attractive for our plant,”- said Gamil Zaripov, Director General of KAMA Frame-&-Stamping Plant OJSC.
KAMA Frame-&-Stamping Plant OJSC has the projects on KAMAZ production capacity growth concerning the launch of KAMAZ-6520 heavy-duty trucks. In particular the projects involve production of cabs with a panoramic window, frames of heavy-duty vehicles family, cabs with a super roof and components of automotive production. All these projects are approved by Committee for innovations of KAMAZ Inc.

KAMAZ – Baku – Caucasus
It’s the second time when KAMAZ Inc. is taking part in the third International “Autoshow-2006” Exhibition held within 15-18 March in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan country. The forum organized by ITE Group Plc and ITECA Caspian LLC companies was held with help of Economic Development Ministry of Azerbaijan Republic and executive authorities of Baku city.
At “Autoshow-2006” participated 70 companies from 18 countries. Mehman Akhmedov, Vice-President of Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Natig Zarbaliyev, Chairman of automobile dealers association and Farid Mamedov, ITECA Caspian Company Director made speeches at the commencement meeting of the exhibition.
KAMAZ Inc., taking part at the show together with its dealer in Azerbaijan - “Vento Trading Ltd.” Company, presented three versions of vehicles, paid attention to the modernized models. These were exhibited a KAMAZ-581453 truck mixer based on KAMAZ-6520 chassis, a KAMAZ-4308 side truck of medium payload with a tent and a frame, and a KAMAZ-6520 dump truck of 20 t payload. The model range was selected considering the Azerbaijan market demands and raised the visitors’ great interest.

Appointments
Akhat F. Urmanov, former advisor of KAMAZ Inc. Director General, is appointed Deputy Director General of KAMAZ Sales and Service department.
Anatoliy K. Samarenkin, ex Deputy Director General of KAMAZ Sales and Service department, is appointed Director of KAMAZ representative office in Kazan. Under his direction KAMAZ Trade and Finance Company and KAMAZ Foreign Trade Company which were incorporated into KAMAZ Sales and Service department grew into a powerful structure that focused the whole KAMAZ Inc.’ activity on company products marketing, sale and servicing within Russia and abroad.

KAMAZ and Kuzbas Keep on Cooperating
On 15 March 2006 Aman Tuleev, the governor Kemerovskaya oblast and Sergey Kogoghin, Director General of KAMAZ Inc. signed in Kemerovo a 2006-2007-cooperation agreement. The paper implies expansion business connections with Administration of Kemerovskaya oblast and the enterprises of the largest coal-basin.
“The first cooperation agreement signed in June 2004 showed that KAMAZ Inc. is a reliable and conscientious partner,” – accentuated Aman Tuleev.
The contract provides for the building in the oblast of the new service center that gives the opportunity to repair and maintain up to 1 000 vehicle units per year.
Representative office of the Company in Siberian region, opened within the first agreement effective period, can help potential customers of KAMAZ vehicles conclude direct treaties for delivery of trucks and spare parts without departing for Naberezhnye Chelny city.
Within this visit to Kemerovo Sergey A. Kogoghin signed two more cooperation Protocols with coal industry enterprises. Since now “Yurginsky Machine Works” Inc. (Yurga city) and amalgamated coal company “Kuzbasugol” are among the partners of KAMAZ Inc. “Yurmash” Inc. (“Yurginsky Machine Works” Inc.) specializes in production of special equipment for coal-mining enterprises, manufactures truck cranes for KAMAZ chassis. According to the protocol the plant is going to assemble 10 truck cranes per month and enlarge the production of special equipment in future.

Results of January and February of 2006
The first two months of 2006 for the group of companies of KAMAZ Inc. have become more successful vs. the same period of preceding years. Within these months there was marketed by 26,1% trucks more vs. the same period of 2005. The major forecasted figures of the business plan have been achieved. In May 2005 the group of companies of KAMAZ Inc. has delivered to its customers products valued 3 478 billion (including corporate output of “NefAZ” Inc. and “KAMAZ-Avtopritsep” Inc., Stavropol). There were marketed 2 467 trucks, 470 of which were exported. There were assembled 3 146 engines and power units; trucks’ spare parts valued 557,7 million rubles, products of diversification for 309,7 million rubles.
Since the beginning of the year KAMAZ Inc. marketed 6 088 billion rubles’ worth products. This is by 18,7% higher vs. the same period of 2005. Besides due to services provided to customers the Company made 360,2 million rubles.
There were marketed 4 367 trucks, including 925 units for export, 5 070 engines and power units, trucks’ spare parts valued 911,7 million rubles, products of diversification for 569,3 million rubles. The Company shipped 176 buses, 204 bus chassis, 1 169 trailers and other trailing vehicles. 281 trucks, buses and trailers were delivered on lease.

Long Live The Professionals!
Representatives of R&D Center of KAMAZ Inc. - Nail Gataullin, who is a chief engine designer, and Rustem Alpitarov, who is a design engineer - have won the All-Russian contest “Engineer Of 2005”. Their names entered “The List of Professional Engineers of Russia”.
The members of the adjudicators’ board elected the most worthy out of 11 thousand candidates that had initially asserted themselves at the contest.
Nail Gataullin gained a victory among venerable colleagues as a “Machine Building (Motor-car-construction)” nominee (“Professional Engineers” category). Rustam Alpitarov, as “Engineering Art of Young People” category, won “Machine Building (Designing, Engineering)” nomination.

KAMAZ and Music
KAMAZ Inc. has not once proved that its interests are not limited only by production. Actually, support and development of culture projects of Naberezhnye Chelny is the Company’s great concern. Since March 1st, 2006 KAMAZ Inc. became a sponsor of the city “Provintsiya” (“Province”) chamber orchestra that is famous not only in Tatarstan Republic but throughout Russia.

Sergey A. Kogoghin Stays at KAMAZ Inc. There was held a regular meeting of Board of Directors of KAMAZ Inc.
It was decided to cease Sergey A. Kogoghin’s authority of a Director General of KAMAZ Inc. ahead-of-schedule and appoint him on the same post for the second time signing a new four-year labour contract.
Members of Board of Directors of KAMAZ Inc. ceased their powers ahead of time as well. There was also approved a new four year management board. Alongside Director General, who in accordance with federal legislation is the Chairman of the board, the following persons were elected to the new management staff: Vladimir A. Abramov, Irek F. Zhidilin, Guluza S. Imanova, Vasil K. Kayumov, Raif S. Malikov, Zhamil G. Tagirov, Akhat F. Urmanov.
Members of Board of Directors of KAMAZ Inc. made a decision to call an annual general meeting of KAMAZ shareholders on 9 June 2006 in Naberezhnye Chelny. There were considered the shareholders’ items on entering the questions on the agenda; and there were also approved the candidates for a new Board of Directors and audit commission of KAMAZ Inc.
