The KAMAZ delegation is headed by Akhat Urmanov, Deputy Director General of KAMAZ Inc. of sales and service. There will also be examined questions of development of VMIC, the assembly enterprise of KAMAZ vehicles in Kam Fa (the Kuang Nign province), and increase of the KAMAZ share in its authorized capital. According to Akhat Urmanov, Vietnam is the basic country for external economic links development and business of KAMAZ in the whole Asian-Pacific region. Almost all main auto makers in the world work here under the conditions of violent competition. KAMAZ came to Vietnam in earnest and long-term. And that’s why it intends to promote its production in the future using and developing various work practices on the car market of the country: creating up to date assembly enterprises and trade and service complexes, participating in advertising and commercial events, working with government institutions and partners in the private sector of business. It will be recalled that development of relations with the Vietnamese corporation VINACOMIN and creation of the assembly enterprise on the basis of one of its subsidiary companies in 2005 let KAMAZ considerably increase the sales volumes of trucks in Southeast Asia and the Asian-Pacific region. The corporation was granted the rights of the KAMAZ distributor. The assembly plant VMIC mastered the manufacture of 5 models of trucks (KAMAZ-55111, -65115, -53229, -6520, -43253).
