KAMAZ Conquered Akonkagua
On 13 February the flag of KAMAz Inc. was hoisted on the highest mountain peak of South America and the Western Hemisphere – Akonkagua (Argentina).
KAMAZ started conquering South America, on the territory of which there will be held the rally Dakar-2009. The height of Akonkagua which is situated in the heart of the Andes is 6 692 meters.
The flag of KAMAZ Inc. was hoisted on the peak by Mikhail N. Stasyukov, President of the Auto Corporation GRUZOMOBIL. A year ago Stasyukov hoisted the flag of the company on the volcano of Kilimanjaro (Africa).

Decision of Board of Directors
At the KAMAZ Board meeting in Moscow the list of candidates for the Board of Directors was formed for voting at the annual stockholders’ meeting of KAMAZ:
