Board Meeting

On 14 May KAMAZ Board of Directors holds a regular meeting in Moscow.

Sergey Kogoghin – Director General of KAMAZ Inc., Glyuza Imanova – Deputy Director General of KAMAZ Inc. of Economy and Finance, Andrey Maksimov – Chief Accountant are among speakers. It’s planned to discuss a range of questions concerning the last year results, an annual account forming, control of the current year business-plan execution, the status of board directors, etc. at the meeting.

Board of Directors will touch upon the issues of the KAMAZ Stockholders’ Meeting scheduled for June and a lump-sum material assistance for the company’s non-working pensioners.

Record Today, Norm Tomorrow

In April KAMAZ Group for the first time produced and realized marketable products for over RUB 9 billion (more than 5.5 thousand trucks and 6.6 thousand engines).

In total for the first four months of 2008 there were shipped marketable products for RUB 31 billion 127 million (+15.8% to January-April 2007 in comparable prices) including:
– 18709 trucks (+20.5%);
– 23044 engines and power units (+22.4%);
– spare parts for RUB 3 billion 525 million (+4.1%);
– diversification products for RUB 3 billion 350 million (+9.2%).

In addition, there were rendered services for RUB 1 billion 815 million.

In April spare parts for KAMAZ vehicles were realized for about RUB 1 billion, and diversification products – for RUB 900 million. On 24 April record 252 vehicles came off the mother assembly line of the automobile plant. In the summer months such a work pace will be a norm.

There were realized 14022 trucks via the dealer network and direct deliveries on the home market (+18.8% to January-April 2007). The foreign customers received 4687 vehicles (+25.9%). There were modernized 575 KAMAZ vehicles. There were produced 1092 assembly sets for foreign assembly enterprises.

For four months 1413 units of the basic production – trucks, buses and trailer equipment – were leased or delivered with payment by installments. This is by 23.5% more than for the same period of 2007. KAMAZ Group leased 329 NEFAZ buses on the basis of the special KAMAZ chassis (–1.2%).

The largest KAMAZ subsidiaries of a united technological cycle outside Tatarstan solidly improved production and realization volumes as compared to 2007:
– “Avtopritsep-KAMAZ” Inc. (Stavropol) – by 17.0%;
– “NEFAZ” Inc. (Neftekamsk) – by 2.0%;
– “Tuimazy Concrete Delivery Truck Works” – by 9.1%.
