KAMAZ Service in Nizhny NovgorodOn 29 May a new KAMAZ trade and service complex will open in Nizhny Novgorod. This trade and service complex is meant for sale of all kinds and models of KAMAZ automotive engineering and has 10 maintenance stations, a vehicle demonstration area and a spare parts store. The complex is located on Federal Highway ¹7 linking Moscow with Kazan and Ufa. It will become one of the best regional facilities in the KAMAZ dealer and service system and will coordinate the sale of KAMAZ vehicles and spare parts in the region. Maintenance services are rendered here during the whole life cycle of a vehicle. The state-of-the-art technologies are used here: preventive maintenance and backup service, light repair and complete overhaul, leasing of vehicles and a Trade-In program. The implementation of the unified software product ASU-Dieler in the company’s dealer network will make it possible to improve the KAMAZ logistics considerably and react to all partners’ and customers’ demands quickly. The Nizhny Novgorod region is one of the most promising regional truck markets in the Volga region (Povolzhye). KAMAZ cooperates with a number of large special equipment producers in this region: Arzamas Machine Building Plant, Chaika-Service, Samotlor-NN, etc.). Thanks to attention and support rendered by all authorities, the Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region and the Mayor of Nizhny Novgorod, KAMAZ increases its strength. The trade and service center was funded exclusively by KAMAZ. In other words, the company invests not only in its own business development without assistance, but also in the economy of the Nizhny Novgorod region and creates new jobs for residents of Nizhny Novgorod. KAMAZ presented its production at “Transport of Russia – 2008” Exhibition which took place in Sochi within the bounds of International Transport Forum. For the first time KAMAZ exposition presented KAMAZ-65222 dump truck – the sample of a new all-wheel drive vehicle line on the basis of KAMAZ-65224 chassis with single tires and rough-terrain performance. Experts predict that the new heavy trucks will be called-for on the market. Besides, the attendees of the exhibition could see NEFAZ-5299-30-31 low entry city bus with 820.61-260 gas engine and KAMAZ-65115-30 dump truck with 820.60-260 gas engine. RariTEK – the KAMAZ dealer and the main bearer of the company’s gas engine strategy – installed the gas-cylinder equipment on the dump truck. All presented gas-powered vehicles are equipped with Euro-4 engines and use natural gas – methane – as fuel. During the exhibition the KAMAZ representatives held successful negotiations for delivery of their production to a number of regions.
