Vehicle > Special EquipmentTo timely meet economic requirements, a range of commercial trucks is required: both ordinary and capable of running with trailers and semi-trailers; on soft suspension, with low-consumption engine and with a lot of superstructures. Recovery vehicle
Recovery vehicle with a crane on KAMAZ-4308 chassis equipped with Cummins engine of 178 h.p. (Euro-2), gross vehicle weight 11500 kg, is a new truck version designed for mounting and transporting vehicles up to 3500 kg, up to 6 m long and up to 2.5m high. Hydraulic crane fixed in the front of a vehicle platform is designed for handling and transporting damaged vehicles. The recovery vehicle on KAMAZ-4308 chassis is equipped with HIAB 095-2 crane (Sweden). For transport the manipulator is stowed across the chassis, the platform being vacant.
The manipulator is supplied with axial-piston pump, hydraulic tank and cooling system, if required. The pump is driven via PTO. For loading a damaged vehicle the manipulator is equipped with a full-circle rotator, transverse beam with leveling device, slings and wheel gripping units. The crane is equipped with overload protection system that prevents the operator from exceeding the rating values and that automatically places the levers back to their neutral position. For night illumination of the loading sight the crane is equipped with a lamp. Specs of hoisting equipment are as follows:
There are flashers on the vehicle roof. When transporting a damaged vehicle it is fixed with chain braces, front fixed stops, winch cable and safety scotch for rear wheels. A powerful chassis engine, platform overall dimensions (6000X2500mm), components produced by world best manufacturers allow to transport vehicles from "Oka" to "Gazel" and "Barguzin", provide for high reliability and excellent performance. Maneuverable vehicle (turning radius between walls: no more than 8,5m), the crane, perfect in its design, small in size and having an extensive boom-out, easy and precise movements allow to use the recovery vehicle near power supply lines, on bridges, in space-limited city environment. The vehicle is efficient: fuel consumption at 60 km/h comes to 14l/100 km. Easy-to-operate, maneuverable, efficient recovery vehicle on KAMAZ-4308 chassis, equipped with hydraulic crane, is a competitor to foreign models of the same kind and is perfectly able to replace out-of-date models. Refrigerator van on KAMAZ-4308 chassis
The current range of refrigerating equipment installed on truck chassis is wide and diverse. Among the KAMAZ chassis-based vehicles designed for transporting perishables, KAMAZ-4308 delivery truck with van capacity of 28m3 is a leader. 2 types of refrigerators are mounted on KAMAZ-4308 chassis: AD 1.5 with 0 degrees Centigrade temperature conditions; AD 1.6 with -20 degrees Centigrade temperature conditions. Index 1 in model designation means that the refrigeration system has engine-dependent drive, i.e. the refrigerator compressor is mounted directly onto the vehicle engine and is actuated by belt drive. As an option, any type of refrigerator can be supplied with a standalone air heater that maintains temperature automatically. Such design allows to turn the refrigerating system off in winter (using heating system) thus prolonging its lifetime.
The refrigerating system mounted on KAMAZ-4308 has some distinctive features. The body is made of high-grade expensive materials. The facing angle pieces, wing flaps, floor are made of aluminum; the outer surface is of galvanized steel powder, polymer coated and is of white color. Body insulation is made of §±§³§¢-25 styrofoam, which is inserted into the frame according with American techniques. Metal frame makes the vehicle body more rigid and solid, which is a great advantage as compared to the traditional sandwich panels. Body insulation thickness is 90mm, which helps maintain the assigned temperature conditions and minimize the refrigerating system wearout. AD 2.5 refrigerating system that maintains temperature of -20 degrees Centigrade can also be mounted on KAMAZ-4308 chassis. AD 2.5 refrigerating system compressor is driven via its engine. The refrigerating system has the aerodynamical plastic housing in the front of the van. There is a vaporizer inside the body. The refrigerating system is controlled via a digital module that is in the driver's cab. Imported components provide for reliability of both the vehicle chassis and the refrigerating unit. Refrigerators comprise up to 90% of Japanese components. APT-18 Telescopic aerial lifting platform on KAMAZ-4308 chassis
Aerial lifting platforms are one of the priorities among the equipment installed on vehicle chassis. Here is APT-18 telescopic aerial lifting platform on KAMAZ-4308 low-frame chassis. Traditionally aerial lifting platforms are used when efficiency, high travel speed, smoothness of equipment operation and its ability to execute complicated maneuvers are required. APT-18 aerial lifting platform with telescopic boom can be used when performing repairs, construction and installation works, when maintaining municipal facilities, buildings and edifices up to 18m high, high-tension power lines, industrial pipelines, etc. Besides, the aerial lifting platform can be used for refurbishment and emergency works as well as for rescue operations. APT-18 Specs
The lifting platform is controlled via two controlling units located at the boom foot and on the platform. Retractable telescopic masts that are actuated via control valves are used for stability and leveling of the lifting platform. In case the allowed distance and load of the lifting platform are exceeded, boom lock system goes off, thus ensuring safety of the works performed. KAMAZ-4308 basic chassis compliant with Euro-2 regulations stand out among its peers. It is a vehicle of a higher class: maneuverable and powerful enough, comfortable and easy to drive, reliable and efficient. With performance like this, special vehicles on KAMAZ-4308 chassis are widely used in various industries. AC-3,2-40 Fire tank truck on KAMAZ-4308 chassis
